Lexi is only four years old. She is still too young for us to have any real idea how much autism will affect her when she becomes an adult. But, to me the way autism affects her isn’t what really matters. What is important is that Lexi can shoot for the stars and reach for her dreams.
I am so grateful for all the amazing women with autism who inspire me. I watch each YouTube, or read each article, thinking “they are reaching their dreams, Lexi can too!” I want to take a minute and share the women with autism who have been the most inspirational for me, and hopefully one day they will inspire Lexi too.
- Nichole Lee. What a beautiful, talented and brave young woman. She has raised awareness through her YouTube Channel Nichole337. I love this video with her and Lou where she is living a dream of hers to record in a studio. She has a great voice and the video is amazing! I want her version of this song on my ipod inspiring me daily!
- Temple Grandin. She has to be one of the most inspirational individuals with autism there is. I had the pleasure of meeting her a few months ago and I was awed to be in her presence. What an amazing woman. She has done so much for the autism community!
- Carly Fleischmann. What a remarkable young woman! She is completely nonverbal but has unlocked her inner voice through type. I am awed by everything I have read or seen about her. I can’t wait to read her book!
I am so grateful for these women and the hope they give me for Lexi. Whatever Lexi’s dreams are, I will do what I can to help her achieve them. Thank you Nichole Lee, Temple Grandin and Carly Fleischmann for helping me understand that Lexi's dreams are there for her to grab!

It was fun watching these videos, thanks.
